2026-2027Mt. Calvary Lutheran School is a private non-profit ministry of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. We do not receive state or federal tax support like public schools. Our school is financed by tuition, the generosity of our church members and our commitment to spending wisely.

Worship Scholarship
We are excited to offer our Worship Scholarship – a 10% tuition discount for TK–8th grade families who actively worship at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. The goal is to encourage families to grow together in faith through regular worship.
To qualify, families must:
- Complete the Worship Scholarship application by August 1st.
- Be approved by the Principal, Pastor, and Chairman of the Board of Elders
- Attend a minimum of 20 worship services during the school year
- Attend either the 9:00 a.m. English service or the 10:30 a.m. Chinese service on Sundays
How the discount works
Families must complete all 20 required worship services before receiving the 10% scholarship. Once the 20 services are completed, the full scholarship amount will be deducted as a lump sum from the next tuition payment. If the scholarship exceeds one month’s tuition, the remaining amount will be applied to the following month’s payment. Families who have paid their full annual tuition will receive the scholarship amount as a credit toward future school expenses or as a reimbursement.
Attendance Check-In
To receive credit, families must sign in on the iPad in the narthex at every service. Attendance that is not signed in on the iPad cannot be added later.
Parents will receive a quarterly attendance update with their child’s report card.
Making Quality Private Education Affordable
Mt. Calvary Lutheran School offers financial assistance to qualifying families. We utilize Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST), a third party service, to help determine the financial needs of families. Using an outside agency such as FAST allows MCL to protect families and give them complete confidentiality and to provide third-party objectivity.
You can apply online directly with FAST. A processing fee may apply. FAST will ask for a copy of your most recent tax return. Approximately 6 weeks after the application is submitted, Mt. Calvary will receive a report and make a final determination of financial aid.
We are excited to be able to formally offer this service to our parents, and we believe that it will allow more of those who are seeking a Christian Education for their child to realize their desires.
