Founded in 1983 by Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Mt. Calvary Lutheran School is a Christ-centered institution serving Infants through 8th Grade. Accredited by WASC and NLSA, we are recognized for academic excellence in our district and community.
Our faculty fosters students’ growth as lifelong learners and servant leaders, sharing Jesus’ love daily. Through open communication, we build strong family connections.
We provide a safe, engaging environment with a curriculum supporting spiritual, academic, physical, and social development. Students enjoy activities like Athletics, Drama, Music, and Dance, plus before- and after-school care.

Mt. Calvary Lutheran School is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA). These agencies regularly evaluate MCL to ensure ongoing academic excellence and sustained accreditation.
To provide a thorough, Christ-centered instruction to God’s Word so that the children may learn God’s will and trust

As Christ is the center of the church and school, He is the center of the educational philosophy and directs all teaching and learning experiences.
Mt. Calvary Lutheran School is dedicated to nurturing each child’s unique abilities, fostering responsible citizenship, upholding the highest academic standards, promoting positive human relationships, and addressing the needs of individuals and families.

Our Faith
Christian Education
Mt. Calvary is a Lutheran church which teaches the Bible-based writings of Martin Luther that inspired the Reformation of the Christian church. The three main teachings of Luther can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, and Scripture alone.
GRACE ALONE
God loves all people, despite our sinfulness and rebellion. Though undeserving, we receive His grace through His Son, Jesus, sent to save us as a free gift.
FAITH ALONE
The Bible teaches that Jesus paid the price for all sins through His death and resurrection. Those who hear and believe this Good News receive eternal life.
SCRIPTURE ALONE
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the sole ruler and norm for Christian doctrine.
